    • The LifeVantage Corporation is a manufacturer of health products designed to implement science-based solutions to oxidative stress, which essentially means that they make anti-aging supplements. LifeVantage Corporation was founded in 2003, and is a publicly traded network marketing company that "enhances life through anti-aging products and creates business opportunities for all people". The company head is CEO David Brown, and was started by Paul Myhill.

The main product offering is called "Protandim" which according to the company's web site demonstrated amazing results after 30 days. With subjects having taken one caplet a day, they realized a 40 percent average decrease in TBARS—the progressive aging rate of a 20 year old. When maintained for 120 days, Protandim significantly increased activity of SOD and CAT antioxidant enzymes by 54 percent, substantially increasing the body's antioxidant defenses.*

With their clinical studies having received some exposure on ABC, The Today Show, and PBS, the company's stock shot up pretty high in 2005 by up to more than 20 dollars per share, however a lack of sales prevented the company from sustaining it. In 2009 the company entered the network marketing arena, where sales dramatically shot up, having more than tripled from its lowest point of less than $0.10 in November of 2008.

LifeVantage basically utilizes what appears to be a legit, unilevel compensation plan that pays down 9 levels matching bonus potential for the first four levels, and a coded bonus for LifeVantage pack qualifiers which allows for bonuses to be earned via limitless depth. It primarily pays commissions based on product sales. Distributors must maintain specific standards in order to remain qualified for commissions.

There are many people who feel that LifeVantage provides a high quality product, and an even larger body of people that are at the very least; curious about what it does and how it works. I haven't found too many Internet reports that claim the company has bad business practices or a lack of quality in its product.
