• Over the last 15 years of direct involvement in the MLM industry, I have watched many companies come and go.

Most die a slow death, shedding distributors as interest wanes. Others crumble out of executive greed and close their doors abrubtly as those executives vanish until the cash runs out and they try to launch the next new deal.

Rarely does a company try to reinvent itself, even more rare is for one to succeed.

Thus far, IamVoip's attempt to reinvent itself through a merger ( or aquisition ) with Vipze seems to be putting them in the destined to fail category.

For a company that has had a history of weak executives with little or no direction for the company, squandering rep good will and ultimitely driving people away with comp plan issues, marketing issues, lack of support, and so on - they have tried to retap into their last remaining die hard reps with a promise of hope in this re-envisioning of IamVoip as Vipze...

And have squandered that remaing goodwill by being completely unprepared to move forward after their "Big Announcement".

Some tips for whoever is behind the wheel at IamVoip / Vipze:

1) Don't make a big a big announcement when there is absolutely no way for your reps to capitalize on it. You completely waste any excitement you generate when they find out that they can't do a damn thing with your new name. That's called vaporware. You just annoyed the hell out of any remaining reps. Letter grade: F

2) Don't expect the old dogs to perform new tricks - if you hang on to the same management that got you into the situation in the first place, don't expect better results the next time around. ( See number 1 - they already screwed you again ). Letter grade: F

3) If you are going to do a conference call to announce your still nonexistent transition / product, don't sit around saying "hello, hello, anyone here" to the sound of crickets in the background. Letter grade: F

• Lame.

• Preaching to the choir.

I met with Mark Guest - career network marketer, career scammer, pathetic toupee.

As long as these clowns can find someone to cut them a check, they will continue to do business.

It's not the company as much as it is the money guys behind the deal - probably never deal with MLM Evangelists who can look you in the eye and promise results, knowing they couldn't deliver pizza to a frathouse if they had navigation built into their car.

Mark Guest, Henrik Risvang, the whole lot - lame. Possibly a viable idea if someone eliminated all the weasels from the henhouse.

• After 10 days of emails building up to the big "IamVOIP Announcement" the final day arrives, and the email says "IamVOIP is now ViPZE".

Pardon me for being totally underwhelmed.

ViPZE, formerly VIPConnectz, is an online social network/advertising MLM.

Somehow these two have merged, or been acquired, or who knows and who cares.

The pathetic part is the rollout.

IamVoip agents received an email announcing the change, but, they can't access any of the ViPZE back office because ... they haven't been migrated into the ViPZE database yet.

Which makes this former IamVOIP rep wonder ... why the f**& did they bother to hype this change if the transition is not even f&*(*&*& complete!  What a pack of pathetic f*&*(&()* idiots.

Is anyone driving this train?  I stuck around after the company got rid of Mark Guest, a pathetic waste of office space ( with a criminal history to boot ) - but now this is just like someone turned over the reins of the company to a pack of imbeciles.

First there was the bit "Steve Smith, Partner" fiasco - which turned out to be a big fat ZERO, and now this joke of a merger...

Who is responsible?

Henrik Risvang?

Someone else? Can anyone point fingers and name names, because I'm ready to kick someone squarely in the ass.

This is like AMATEUR HOUR.  How do these idiots collect a paycheck?

The latest email:

Dear IamVoip/vipze Agent.

The recently announced merger with vipze was put together in response to the needs and requests we have received from the field over the last several months. Next week, you will be able to sign up agents and sell service in Mexico and many other countries around the world. Communication and tools will be available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The money you earn will be paid to you on a pay card. You will have new and exciting offerings and the entire world to share them with and much, much more.

In addition you can now market services other than Voip, as you build your state of the art global social network.

As part of the merger with vipze, we are converting to the vipze compensation plan, vipze website and vipze agent support systems. This means that we are again a binary - a very powerful and exciting binary with more options than ever for you to generate significant income. Your binary IamVoip organization has been recreated in vipze and will be visible to you in your new agent back office in a few days. You will also have a brand new vipze website which replaces your iamvoip.com website. Look out for important emails from isasupport@iamvoip.com with important information about your website, login information and much more as we complete the merger of our systems. This is a big undertaking and will take a few days during which we have removed the signup options on iamvoip.com.

Your own phone service and that of your customers will continue as-is, with the current service bundles and IamVoip customer portal. All new agents and customers will enroll on your new vipze site. I know you will be excited about the new voip service packages which also are available to you as a change from your current service level. Details of packages, tools, compensation plan and much more will be available for you in your new agent back office.

Many things are changing and we will be sending you details separately for each area, so please make sure to check your emails for updates.

Most importantly, stay in touch with your team and ensure they receive their emails and attend the calls. Our next call for IamVoip Agents is on Monday October 5th at 8pm eastern / 7pm central at 218-339-2626, pin 833176#. The vipze opportunity call is shortly after at same number at 9pm eastern / 8 pm central. Attend the calls and launch or relaunch your business loaded with the latest news.

I ask for, and appreciate your patience as we complete the transition. It will be well worth your while.

Sincerely,

Henrik Risvang

Chief Executive Officer
IamVoip, Inc.

Oh, yes Henrik. I will be on this call. Asking who is responsible for these announcement and the enourmous clusterf*&*k all the way around.

• As a IamVoip Rep you need MORE, highly targeted, highly motivated and FREE IamVoip Leads for your Business.

There are several ways that you can go about  generating  your own leads but the most effective will ALWAYS be the leads that you generate where you are branding yourself in the mind of the prospects.

To do this you need a system. And I am not just talking about any lead generation system, but one where you are able to customise capture pages, put videos in them and brand yourself as a source of good, valuable information and ideas, so that the prospects are motivated to leave their contact details with you.

In any network marketing business the principles of success are always the same and your IamVoip business is no different.... your success comes down to 2 main principles that you must learn and develop your self and not rely on anyone else to do for you.

These 2 principles are

1:  Marketing;  This is your ability to generate your own free IamVoip leads and master the art of persuasion through giving effective and relevant information or content that your prospects are looking for. When you can put your valuable messages in front of those who are looking for it, they will happily follow you and in fact will start chasing you.

That is almost the EXACT opposite from what 99.99% of IamVoip Reps are used to. You need to distinguish yourself from all other IamVoip Reps and become an INDEPENDENT MARKETER, and treat your IamVoip Business as just ONE of your vehicles to wealth and fortune!

2: Mindset;  This is where you need to develop yourself into a TRUE leader and someone that is worth following. If you cannot develop the skills necessary to be a leader than you will NEVER have any one follow you and you will never generate your own free IamVoip leads for your IamVoip business.

You must be willing to spend the time and money necessary here, so you can grow FAST. Your mindset needs to be one of an ENTREPRENEUR and not just a IamVoip Rep trying to make some sales.

In summary, you need to learn REAL marketing principles and develop your mindset from IamVoip Rep to TRUE Entrepreneur, AND you want to have an automated marketing system that allows you to do that with complete ease.

• He's gone. That guy is a waste of space and will say anything to put a buck in his pocket.

• June 18, 2009 1:09 PM PDT
• Forgot to mention - the last time I saw Mark Guest he had an ankle bracelet and couldn't leave his house.

As long as he is not involved with IamVoip I'll give it another look.

• Has anybody on this board signed up as a Rep to IamVoip? It looks interesting and it pays to unlimited depth.  Here's a link to the comp plan: http://www.securedcontent.net/iamvoip/nusite/opportunity/IamVoip_Compensation_Plan_6_1_09.pdf .  Of course you are limited to a single product line like Excel.

• June 13, 2009 5:04 PM PDT
• People left when Mark Guest was involved with IamVoip because he's a total scam artist.

He talks a great talk, and will promise anything, but end of the day he never comes through.

Avoid this guy and any company he is involved with. Search for him under "Mark Guest Identity Theft" on Google and get an idea who you are dealing with.

Hopefully, IamVoip is completely through with this guy.  Just another company in a string of failed companies where he's held some random position.

And his Toupee is the worst I've ever seen.

• After Steve Smith joined the company, there has been a new surge in interest and people are making checks.

Some people left back when Mark Guest was director of marketing, and they weren't seeing any results, especially in the southern california area.

Now they are coming back and the company is growing, the product is timely, affordable, and makes sense ( better than paying the phone company ) and they think Steve Smith
Just saw that IamVoip made top of the list on MLM Rankings.

MLMRankings.com
can help build this into the next Excel.

• Everywhere I go I seem to be seeing info on this company.

What's the story? I know that Steve Smith formerly of Excel Communications has joined the executive team. He's a bit before my time but from what I understand he helped build Excel into a multibillion dollar company.

Does this VOIP company have the same potential as Excel did back in the day, and why the sudden momemtum and interest?

• Hello JTHeron

The IamVoip 800 number is a great additional feature of our SOHO (small office home office service)at 59.95 and yes it can be used with your current business. However with that being said it is not included with your residential service at 19.95.

The 800 number is an incoming line only therefore all outgoing calls would be unlimited. However incoming calls to the 800 number would include 400 monthly minutes and then it would be 4.9 cents a minuet there after.

Please note the toll free number is a number that you can have ring any phone you want. Example if you where to call mine it would ring my cell phone and office phone simultaneously  and only the hours I specify.  It is a very powerful tool to have.

Please let me know if that addressed your question?

also for a list of additiona features for the SOHO service please review

• I looked over the IamVoip site, and have a couple of questions:

Does the basic IamVoip service provide me with an 800 number I can use for my business?

Is the 800 number unlimited, as long as I have the high speed internet access to support the service?

• This is a recent news post about IamVoip. I think its very compelling how the CEO works hands on with Leaders and Teams. And how every enrollee seems to get a personal call from the marketing director welcoming them to the company:

IamVoip CEO Henrik Risvang Working Closely with Leaders in Texas

CEO Henrik Risvang is traveling in Texas this week on the first stop of his tour to meet with leaders across the nation. He is there, along with head Agent Rhonda Castle, to open the biggest market for the Hispanic population in the southern part of our nation. Henrik is also meeting one-on-one with seasoned leaders attracted to the amazing IamVoip Opportunity.

As part of his busy meeting schedule, Henrik was also fortunate to meet Texas Governor Rick Perry, who looks forward to seeing IamVoip's continued growth in the Longhorn state. Governor Perry understands the value of VoIP, as he personally uses the technology to communicate with friends currently serving overseas. Governor Perry was pleased to hear that IamVoip's operations - from our call centers to our corporate headquarters - are manned entirely by hard working Americans offering our Agents and Customers the best possible service.

Mr. Risvang will continue to meet with prominent leaders and officials in Texas this week before heading to California next week to meet with more officials and to support local and regional IamVoip events.
