    • When I first put in my link it wasn't active either. So here is a very simple step by step on how to create your own live signature link. Don't anyone be offended as I am writing this so even a newbie should understand. This is because one can't actually show an acurate code because it will post as the finished link.

First go down to my signature in this post. Mouse over it and right click you mouse. Of the choices that come up click on the 'Inspect Element' link. Now a partial new window will appear on the right half of your page in there will be some line of text that are now highlighted by a grey background color. You need to copy this. Without writing by hand you have 2 choices. First is highlight the text by starting at the beginning of the lines shown and holding down you left mouse button and drag your mouse over the whole text (but only the text from the grey box, not everything in the window). Then right click your mouse and select copy. At this point you could also just hold down your control key (bottom left of your keyboard) and press C. This also copies.

Now click the X in the top right of this new page containing code you opened so you are back to only viewing this post.

Now go to the top right of the page and click on the 'settings' link. On the new page now go to the link that says 'my forum signature'. You will find it on the right end of the line starting with 'my settings'.

Now left click your mouse in the empty box for your signature and right click your mouse and click paste or hold down your keyboard 'control key' (bottom left) and press the letter V. This should now paste in the exact code as it is in my signature. So now we just make a few changes and input your links instead. In the pasted code highlight (take your mouse and click and hold down, then drag your mouse to the right) from the http right to the end of the last word in that sequence which is if my memory serves me is karatbars.html. When that is highlighted you can then type in the full address of the link you want people to go to. The http...............com or .com/you whatever the url is.

Finally take your mouse and highlight the entire text portion of the link. This is the part you see and read at the bottom of this post. Here you type in whatever it is you want people to read in your link. Example if you typed in 'Go to my site' that is what would show in your signature. When done scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'update' and you are done. If it's not right you need to recheck every step as just one misplaced 'dot' can screw it all up.

And now since I did all this typing I came up with why not just post an image so you can see the code lol. Anyway hope this helps anyone who is trying to add a sig.

    • Admin,

I would like to post a 'how to' create a clickable link in your signature, but I can't see how to share the code without it becoming an actual link (and thus not showing the code!)

Happy to do it, if you can give me a tip here... ;)

    • Hi Jon, we are adding a feature for forum signatures. Your signature will automatically be attached to all of your previous posts and any new posts when it is implemented. You will be able to set the signature from your profile update page. Sorry about the delay and any inconvenience on this implementation.

    • Many months ago, I paid for an active Rep listing with my company on Npros. There is a link there to my RepSpace profile. However this link isnt working and I can not find a way to update or fix it. Also, the information on my company is VERY outdated. Who do we contact to get this information updated? Its 75.00 a year to be listed and I would expect to have accurate information published.
