    • Wow excellent post. An impressive one. I enjoyed a lot. I think it will become a motive post for most of them who are going to start a bussiness firm.

    • Interesting,

Old threads are a great source of education to re-visit like this one.  While the concept is good, some things just do not pan out given the collapsing economy and extra pressures put upon the average MLMer.  Excuses are excuses when it comes to business, and just like we see in government, making excuses does not change the facts.

I look for value when researching any business, traditional or internet, if you cannot represent true value, then forget about it, the business will not fly, especially in a recession like this.  Groupon is about to go public, and it took them years to get to this point, but is the model sound?  The concept is sound, after all, it serves the interest of business and consumer, a win win situation for any business.  But, and this is a big BUT, will it survive after IPO?

We saw what a disaster FaceBook was with IPO, dropped like a rock and people lost millions, so will Groupon see same backlash in this uncertain market?  I have followed Groupon and have used it, and I was not imressed from a consumers standpoint, so we shall see.  It was a very cumbersome buying experience, and then supplier did not deliver, so a double bad experience for me.  For the business owner, maybe it works, but in reality, is it any different than Amazon concept, minus the discount coupon angle?

Time will tell, but where is Customer Advantage now?  I have not seen much in the way of information on company in over a year, and judging from this dead thread, makes you wonder. I try to research everything, and I liked concept of Groupon from start, so I looked at Customer Advantage, but with the usual start up issues, lost interest knowing the pitfalls of start up businesses without proper funding.  MLM is typically used to generate capital for start ups which are not well funded, so one has to look more closely is what I have learned.

So how is Customer Advantage doing today, they are long gone as I see it.  Lessons learned, copying the Groupon concept is sound, using MLM model is good, but how many start ups well funded?  Not very many in my opinion and knowledge.  An interesting concept I see in recent years is self funding, but rather than use the MLM model exclusively, I am seeing a mix of both in recent years.  Revenue sharing programs are gaining in popularity because of the high rate of return on loans to company, so just another sign of the times given banks are not making business loans anymore.  Should be interesting to see how this new concept in MLM pans out.

      Success to all,

    • Many thanks for the update. If i want to feature my business in The Customer Advantage, only membership is enough or any other procedures needed to feature my business? If i get some clear idea, it would be useful to me and many other people.

    • Wallace,

When we ask clear crystal questions (ONLY 2 OF THEM) he runs like an Ostrich with his head on the ground, and the rest of him making an @ss of himself. I don't want to create an argument, I just wanted to get an answer from him, and that IS the same reason I can't find a good company to start my business....because most of them can't answer my questions.  The writing is on the wall here...As far I'm concern, Mr. Linkvaark has the real numbers of "The Customer Advantage". unless someone else comes up with an answer to my two simple questions.

    • Hmmm, compelling argument. I wonder if he or she will respond.

    • Brokelinkvaark / Urbanebeat Satff,
This  is the 3rd request for you to answer just two questions....I'm still waiting for you to HELP ME to figure out if the below MATH and link is correct or not. If the MATH BELOW is wrong, I would request the owners of Repspace to delete ALL my questions and responses, including an apology to the forum. Until then, I guess someone (link below) is helping people like me to make the right decision and keep my wallet on a safe place AWAY from "The Customer Advantage".

By avoiding to answer my two questions.....you're only telling people the below link IS THE CORRECT MATH, Brokenlinkvarrk.
      Read below again!

      Brokelinkvaark,

I directly wrote to you (below) and so far you have avoided my ONLY two questions...Should I assume that whoever made the slide show (Link Below) about "The Customer Advantage" indeed was giving the correct MATH about TCA?? With due respect, this is the reason people like me can never find the right company out there. Every time someone ASK a tough question /'s, they get avoided and reading through this entire thread John Milanoski itself doesn't address those tough questions. I am not here to argue or create a "propaganda" against anyone, I just want answers and I CAN'T GET THEM FROM ANYONE, and when someone like Mr. Linkvaark shows (based on his website) how the TCA MATH works, some of you get crazy! For what reason??? We (I'm sure a lot of people like me are out there) just want to hear the answer to our questions, that's all. Anyways, below again is my ONLY TWO QUESTIONS, I'm still waiting for your answer Mr. Brokelinkvaark, no reason to get upset, either you do have the answer or you don't....if you don't, please say so. It's not a big deal! At least someone else below (so far!!!) has the real TCA numbers!

      Brokelinkvaark,

May I please ask you two questions? Do you think the math numbers from the below link with respect to "The Customer Advantage" are accurate, fake, or ?

When I looked at the numbers and for what I can see, if "The Customer Advantage" pay plan shows that....I guess someone is taking a lots of innocent people for a ride on a hype. (consider those results based upon TCA numbers). Regardless of who owns the link below or WHO did it...ins't he telling the truth about TCA numbers below or not? It's OK to have an adult discussion, we are human beings, lets HELP everyone in here including me. I need clarification from your side now OK.

An extra point here but, no need to discuss (unless you want to). The other issue is about using the name of your "closest relative" to capitalize any business. To me, (on my opinion) that is just pure wrong but, again everyone has a different heart when comes to your father, mother, etc....death...that's just me, I would NEVER do that, bad Karma.

      http://www.slideshare.net/LinkvaarkF...?from=ss_embed

Looking forward to hear your response about my two questions above. Thanks.

PS: By the way, I was reading and searching about John Milanoski and his "TCA" deal, and found those links on the web. If they are NOT the truth, let me know ASAP! But sooooo far, based on the TCA comp plan numbers.......the writing is on the wall, unless you show me something different using TCA numbers. Thanks again.

    • I agree that there isn't any company that can possibly live up to every single ideal definition there is, BUT, in this case, TCA isn't really living at all. It really started out with a very positive momentum. People were signing up, getting networks ready, passing the zeal to one another but then the engine wouldn't start. Web sites got amped up, people began vesting dollars into their plan just waiting for it, but nothing was going on. Then, little reports of people leaving began to trickle. Rumors of rank rumbles began to come out, teams broke up, and there was John M. unable to give so much as an update. I'm not sure if he actually gave possible dates, but the times came and went; only to be replaced by weird stories about dying family members and troubled times (that isn't to make fun at all, but it perpetuated a certain weirdness). We've been hanging out debating it for a few weeks now, and I think its safe to say TCA isn't going to happen. I do think a launch date will eventually occur, and tons of people will say "I told you so", but it will be short lived, having long lost any real momentum it ever had. I am just a forum guy, so what do I know, but its my prediction anyway.

    • @brokelinkvarrk - You sound very disgruntled. I hope everything is ok. I've been in this industry for 6 years and earn a very healthy six figure income. My partner and I was contacted about this javita opportunity and I said "no" in the beginning until everything was explained to me in detail.

Obviously I can't disclose my name because I still get paid every week from my current company but try not to dismiss something you know nothing about. I was once very unhappy and thought MLM was a big scam until I did something that no one else did for me..."I worked the business." Plain and simple.

P.S. Binary comp plan the kiss of death? Hahahaha... I like that one actually LOL! That's a new one for me, but it's a binary plan that pays me every week. And I did it without an existing downline.

I hope you come to realize that, "you" decide if you're going to be successful, not the comp plan. This industry is a blessing bro. Let's stop the bashing and start implementing ways to help one another. It's called, "Networking."

    • I don't think we'll ever find a company that will live up to it's golden carrot.

    • The math done on that link is correct but it uses the wrong numbers to calculate the commission.

Here is the breakdown on a $60 purchase:

50% goes to the business that offers the coupon = $30

2% goes to the TCA member that got the business to make the offer = $1.20

      23% goes to TCA corporate = $13.80

      25% goes to the members (5% for 5 levels) = $15.00

      Total = $60

TCA pays out 54% of what it takes in after the business is paid their 50%.  It is not 54% of the total coupon purchase.

I am not disputing the calculations for how much money a person can or will make with TCA through the 5 levels.

    • Hey there, all due respect, (and I'm asking sincerely) do they have a corporate office set up with an official number? I've seen contact forms but no hard number, and I don't mean a phone number to a rep or to JM's basement but an actual functioning office number. This is the kind of thing I expect any functioning business to have established long before they even talk about launch dates. On your side things may seem pretty bright with The Customer Advantage, but to those of us on the outside it has lost 90% of its credibility, in fact not many people seem to be really looking anymore and have long since chalked it off as a fail. I'm not into negativism and I don't generally want to see anyone fail, but seriously, I'm already wondering how in the world it could possibly pull out now, let alone months from now. This is one of those things I hope for all of you that I'm wrong about though.

    • The Customer Advantage is currently in the early stages of its soft launch. It release its first coupons in Boston, MA; Bellingham, WA and Ft. Collins, Colorado. These have been sent to small groups of members to help the company test all the email, deal and payment and sharing systems. We anticipate the first nation-wide offer to come out in the next week which will enable the technological infrastructure to be tested at an even higher rate. Hope this helps.

    • June 29, 2011 5:28 AM PDT
    • lmao, that was a bit harsh, but funny. What I want to know is, when is the official launch date? Think big, make it count.

    • June 21, 2011 1:11 AM PDT
    • What would you like to know?

    • June 21, 2011 12:59 AM PDT
    • in the email sermon it said:

"Also, is there someone in the world you would love to ask a question of? Who is one person you would love to have an interview with and what would you ask them? Answer that question and we will gather the most mentioned person and make it happen. This will be great value to all of us! Think BIG… This can be ANYONE! Make it count! If you could talk to anyone… who would it be? "

Yes - we'd love to ask a question of - somebody that will answer the corporate phone.  Do they even have a home office number?

      LOL - too funny . . .

    • Here is the most recent update from John and the TCA Staff...

      Hello TCA Members!

As you may have already heard activity here at the central office is rapidly picking up speed.

There are many areas ready to go with TCA and the very first test deals were sent earlier on Wednesday to a select number of members in the Bellingham, WA and Boston, MA area. We will be watching the results closely, making adjustments as needed, and reporting back to you with the results as soon as they are compiled. One exciting aspect you will notice is how easy it will be to share deals with your networks and purchase them as gifts. Those implementing these features are expected to cause a tremendous growth in their personal group memberships. If you would like to listen to our most recent webinar which offered a preview of these two deals click on this link.

There is also a shorter highlighted version on this page that you can view. This webinar will show many of the exciting aspects and tools that you have with this first deal and show many of the great features we have built into our offers.

After more than a month of throttling up, the email systems are set to send out over 60,000 emails to our members every hour. We are set to scale this to any size needed!

We are happy to announce that we have hired five additional support staff and we are in the process of training them on the specific requirements and structure of the TCA system. Because you are part of this company and compensated for sparking growth it is only natural that if you need help the first place to go is to the person who told you about TCA and be there for those you helped to enroll. If that person is not available or is not able to answer your questions, then move up to their sponsor and keep moving up until you get the help you need. There are many leaders in the field and you will benefit tremendously by working as a team with them. You can always go to the TCA Forum (accessible from your back office) to see if your question had been answered. If not, you can then have your question answered by the members by listing it in the "Community Q. and A." section. If you have experience with TCA, that’s a great place to contribute as well!

As we begin delivering more and more deals we are shifting focus to installing our innovative revolutionary FIRST payment system that will even work for those that do not have a bank account. This will be just one of many game changers we will bring to market! You are definitely at the right place at the right time!

One of the most important and unique aspects of TCA is that, we the members, are the ones growing this company. In order to be the best we can be, we strongly suggest you review the 5 videos located in the "How To - Presentations" link on the left side immediately after logging into your back office. They are a wealth of information and can answer many of the questions that come up in our forum or sent to support. For those who are approaching local businesses, the first two and the last video are especially tailored to help that process.

Our "member focused" philosophy encourages controlled growth and allows us to build out gradually to ensure each of our participating merchants get the attention they need. By supporting local leaders, TCA will launch in a number of local areas and expand outward from there. This strategy will organically build a structure of support and information created by the membership.

Because of who we are and the size of TCA we have the unique position to get the attention of amazing people. As part of our ongoing commitment to offer our members the most value at all times, we have put together a very short survey to help us understand better the things we all would like to learn, share and have access to. We will put some great people and items in front of you. This survey is important to you to get what you most want!

Also, is there someone in the world you would love to ask a question of? Who is one person you would love to have an interview with and what would you ask them? Answer that question and we will gather the most mentioned person and make it happen. This will be great value to all of us! Think BIG… This can be ANYONE! Make it count! If you could talk to anyone… who would it be?

      All the best to you…

      The entire TCA Team!

    • June 20, 2011 11:49 PM PDT
    • The only time you pay ANYTHING is when you decide to purchase an offer. Joining is completely free for individuals and businesses. There are no hidden fees or up selling with TCA.

    • June 20, 2011 11:47 PM PDT
    • Yes they are reals deals offered by local businesses n their community. They are also the first two so adjustments are being made to improve them as well. Watch for other cities and some national offers to follow shortly. They have been in development for 18 months and are committed to creating a strong and innovative platform to support local businesses.

    • June 20, 2011 10:41 PM PDT
    • I was at least modestly optimistic about this in the beginning, but I have to concur with cruisin, I think this is asking for a fail.

    • June 20, 2011 3:33 AM PDT
    • Be careful when they start asking you to open your wallet . . .

      run - run fast . . .

    • June 20, 2011 2:25 AM PDT
    • LOL - u call those deals?  too funny . . .

    • June 20, 2011 1:45 AM PDT
    • JonhyTop - Your wait is over. The first few deals went out this past week. TCA actually has very little hype. Check it our for yourself.
