    • Lol, kind of a late bloomer with this one I think..

Well, I hope you didn't get involved with TVI Express, but judging by your posting name it seems like you or someone you know has some type of vested interest.TVI Express is not only a blatant scam, but they have long since been blacklisted. As of right now, the company web site is still functioning, though I don't know how, saying as its supposed founder, Tarun Trikha is sort of carrying around a reputation that has come to repel most entrepreneurs. TVI Express testimonials are a good starting place to see through the BS, they are little more than anecdotes, forever laden with an absence of corroboration in any for and cannot be verified.

TVI Express is a scheme that will pay a tiny percentage of people and leave the rest with nothing, with two pyramids of 15 people each you need to cycle out of which translates to you having a moneymaking chance of chance of 1 out of over 200. Most companies like this share common traits, so you can apply these types of things to describe any bad MLM. They all make ridiculous claims like "Make $5000 a week", or "make 25k a month". People need to apply the old saying: "If its too good to be true" because it almost always is. Actually no, I take that back. It always is. Unfortunately there is no shortage of people who get psyched the second they hear such unrealistically hyperbole.

Another thing I noticed with companies like this, is that there are no sales reports. Not with TVI Express in particular, where are they, can you find any? I have been unable to. This isn't just a fail to make any money scam, this is a "take your money and cut all contact" scam. People have been reporting that they received no travel vouchers for over 2 years now, hence all of this leading up to this company being the reference to describe a scam when analyzing all the new up and comers.

In any event, I'm not trying to make anyone who fell for it feel foolish, because if you haven't done much research about MLM companies in general, its very hard to see a good idea from a bad one, but at the same time, you can Google TVI Express and get enough bad feedback to know its a BAD idea. So if you haven't gotten ripped off yet, pull out, eject, retreat, abort!

    • lmao, I'm surprized people are still even discussing this heh, let me answer the question and set it all to rest my friends. No one has recieved them, and no one is going to lol. You have my scout's honor word on that one.

    • April 11, 2011 4:59 AM PDT
    • Interesting,

I guess the lack of response says it all, these worthless vouchers proved to me early on, this was nothing but about the money, not travel, unless you call the trip to bankruptcy a vacation.

      Success to all,

    • Has anyone actually received their list of preferred destinations from TVI Express?

I've seen posts elsewhere from people complaining that they have submitted their online prebooking form, but have not received their list of hotels.

    • I've been doing research on this company for a long time, and I assure you that you need not have any dealings with TVI Express whatsoever. The poster above me posted an excellent article to give you an idea of how they have been operating. South Africa is only one of a few instances now in which this company has blatantly ripped off thousands. Last I heard, TVI Express wasn't allowed to operate in the United States, and that was over 6 months ago.

You guys crack me up "your mlm is a scam, but try mine because it's not"  drop your ego's and wish everyone well.  Everything in life is a pyramid - every corporation has a top and a bottom and lot's of ding bats in between, the top makes more than the bottom and the middle man if he's lucky can pay off a credit card or two.  Mcdonalds, GM, Burger King, Macey's, you name it every business is a pyramid, the top get rich the bottom do not.  At least in TVI you are rewarded for your work.  Those who work get paid, those who do not, do not.  It doesn't matter where or when you start if you work, you'll jump over the dead beats, that is a better deal than any job you can work.  I for one love TVI, and there are others out there too that I belong too.  So far TVI has offered more, faster and better.  Love em.  Join or not.  That is your choice, $825 that's yourself and 2 others, for $10,000, when you progress from 1-4 on the T-board and 1-4 on the E-board - you receive $10,000.00 It works.

      [/quote]

Hi Barkave - I read an article today that said that TVI Express went belly up in South Africa and that chrages have been filed against the company for operating a prohibited pyramid scheme. Did you make any money in this company and is it still operating in the US?

      http://www.thenewage.co.za/6866-1007-53-Scam_goes_belly_up

Quite: "Bongi Ngomane, a team leader for TVI Express in South Africa and one of the original promoters, confirmed yesterday that the scheme was no longer operational in this country.

“Promoters who are still luring people to invest in the scheme are committing fraud,” said Ngomane. She estimated that more than 100 000 people had signed up for the scheme."

If TVI Express is a pyramid scheme in South Africa, can it be legit here? It's all the same company, right?

    • What a crock, sorry, but I have been asking for proof from people for over six months and no one can show they have been paid, so I make the same offer to you, what is your ID and I will have it checked out, you don't have to say how much you earned, just give me your ID, the same thing I have asked for on dozens of forums like this, and to date, nothing.

      Good luck,

This is the oldest, lamest "MLM" argument on the planet.

You don't understand the meaning of the term pyramid as it applies to a fraudulent MLM.

Yes, big businesses are structured with owner and executives at top earning more, and usually taking more or all of the financial risk, all the way down to casual labor, who have no risk if the venture fails and collect a paycheck week to week regardless of the profitability of the company.

An MLM "Pyramid" refers to a PONZI SCHEME - where the fees for new people who enter the business ( in this case, 250.00 for a digital certificate ) go to pay off the higher level recruiters. The company can non sustain itself without these new rubes buying in for their new certificate.

There is no 'consumable product'. Look that up. Educate yourself. Without a consumable product, it's a ponzi scheme.

Two simple questions - have you cashed in your certificate for your vacation?

Have you earned more than you invested into the deal?

The odds of this company being in business in 2011 are somewhere between slim and none. Do some research and see how many other "travel certificate programs" have come and gone, and how many people still wish they had the investment they lost when they bought into something like the TVI Scam.

    • February 14, 2010 5:56 AM PST
    • Great, so have you cashed out for your $10K yet?  Sure hope so.

    • Hi

I think it is really important that when you explain the compensation pay out you express that it is $10,000.00 and $5,000.00 in travel vouchers.  There are vultures out there just waiting to chew and spit tvi express out, and just an innocent statement will be tracked all over the internet as deceptive and fraud.  I love TVI I am glad that I joined.  It has changed my life.  Bottom line - I don't beg, plead or talk anyone into TVI - it's a no brainer what this company offers, take it or leave.  Most I talk too take it.  Good luck with your TVI adventure.  I wish you success, and prosperity. :)

    • I agree.  I also have looked into TVI and I feel bad for those that are going to have a bad taste of Network Marketing after this scam comes to an end.  If anyone is looking for a legal and upcoming travel network marketing company checkout www.ruyle.worldventures.biz

May everyone have great success with Network Marketing :)

    • Concur, stay with the legit industries!

Here is a recent press release:

Network marketing giant and former industry executive is taking a fresh new approach to charity and network marketing. Victor Luebker, the founder of hope4heroes and a three combat tour veteran found a very innovative way to raise money for his foundation and empower people with a business of their own. Vic was the president of a network marketing company and after building it to a million dollar enterprise he retired to start the foundation for wounded and disabled veterans and their families. Victor has found a very innovative way to help two industries at once.

Victor was named a founding distributor with an emerging new company where he is combining his 20 year MLM background with a great foundation. Vic says “it is very hard to raise money for charity in this tough economy, we needed to think outside the box and find new opportunities for funding” He goes on to say “networking just made sense given my background and success in that industry”.

We feel many millionaires will be made from this alliance and even more six figure incomes.

Hope4heroes started this as a way to empower veterans looking for work. They felt self employment was the best long term option for the millions out of work. They went out and looked for the best company and compensation plan and product with high growth potential. Vic says “We feel the growth in nutraceutical industry was the obvious choice” Further “The multi-patents that Jusuru has on Bio-collegen or HA puts them out front of the entire industry.”

Vic is combining his very distinguished marketing and business background to teach the next generation of networking entrepreneurs. He feels that there is a strong niche market to be carved out in “social entrepreneurship” and teaching people how to make money and help a larger cause. Not everyone just wakes up knowing how to make $10,000 a month.

Victor says “we selected Jusuru after eight months of research and conversations with numerous companies” He goes on to say, “I needed to know the company had the best compensation plan possible, made their own products to ensure price control and quality and cared about others as much as I do, I found that at Jusuru and feel certain they are positioned to be the next industry giant”.

The goal of the Hope4heroes and Jusuru alliance is to position our charity as the top team and use our extensive marketing budget and experience to help everyone that joins. Further to support Jusuru as they grow and bring Vic’s vast expertise to the table. The combined efforts of both companies should prove very powerful for the distributors that come on board

    • Agreed,

Sadly, the get rich quick promises are increasing as traditional home based online business are suffering due to the recession, so when this happens, more people will fall for deals like TVI.  I have seen and researched them all, and I warned all those I knew whe were promoting this scam, but many found out the hard way, the spillover fairy died years ago. lol

In a recession, success is simple, find a product or service which offers real and verifiable value, something everyone needs and is already purchasing, then you will see success.  Without selling, just telling, success is easy for most cannot and do not like selling the usual overpriced MLM products we all see.  If you would not purchase a product without the income opportunity, then how can you expect anyone else to do the same?  They won't, and this is why MLM industry has a 97% attrition rate totally preventing you from any long term success, so these short time get rich quick deals pollute the reputation of the MLM industry over and over again.

      Success to all,

    • As someone with more than 25 years of experience in the network marketing industry and who is considered an expert in the field, I am constantly approached by individuals promoting various business opportunities, and I've recently become aware of a new program that could end up being one of the biggest ILLEGAL, pyramid, moneymaking schemes to ever hit the U.S!

TVI is nothing more than an illegal pyramid and money game (a $250 "airplane ride" type program) that has recently arrived in the U.S., which is being promoted by a company based out of the U.K!

It initially began in China and India, and based upon its success in those 2 countries, they are now promoting this highly ILLEGAL pyramid as a legitimate business opportunity in 50 countries (they haven’t done the proper registration in any of those countries that I am aware of in order to legally operate as a network marketing opportunity), and if various regulatory agencies in a variety of countries take prompt and decisive action, hundreds of thousands to a few million people are going to be "fleeced" out of hundreds of millions of dollars!

In fact, they are promoting that almost 400,000 people in various countries have joined since January of 2009 alone-do the math! 400,000 people x $250 a person is $100 million they have taken in, and that will be a drop in the bucket unless regulators in the U.S., the U.K., and other countries take immediate and decisive action!

The program is promoted as a one time $250 expenditure through a gimmicky matrix type structure with "boards" that mirrors the structure of many "airplane" type schemes promoted in the past, only this time instead of just money exchanging hands, which would make it a blatant illegal pyramid, they are hiding behind a  $250 "travel package" in order to give it the appearance of legitimacy, a $250 travel package that no sane consumer would purchase!

However, there is virtually no selling of the "travel package" to legitimate retail customers, NON-BUSINESS participants, occurring! Consequently, almost all of the commissions and bonuses that are being paid are being earned strictly from the "sale," and I used that word loosely, of the $250 package from one distributor (business participant) to a new distributor (business participant), which court cases have deemed to not be a legitimate retail sale as the business participant is making the purchase in lieu of a business consideration, i.e., to make money, so basically distributors (business participants) are receiving their commissions and bonuses for doing nothing more than "headhunting," being paid merely for the act of recruiting of fellow business participants, which has been deemed illegal as it pertains to network marketing and business opportunities.

There is no requirement of having to make a certain number of retail sales of their $250 travel package to a legitimate retail customer (a non-business participant) as a means to trigger their earning the commissions and bonuses on those they have recruited. It is strictly just one big $250 money game based on recruiting participants.

This is just the first of several legal problems for this illegal scheme. In addition, regulators usually like to see at least a 3 to 1 if not 5 or 6 to 1 customer to distributor ratio in a legitimate network marketing opportunity. In other words, at least 3 customers (non business participants) that have purchased the product being promoted to every 1 distributor who has signed up in the program. In this particular case, the ratio in TVI Express is probably 100 distributors or more for every 1 legitimate customer!

Using numbers provided by this company, they are claiming 400,000 distributors. Using even a 3 to 1 customer to distributor ratio, it would mean they would need to have 1.2 million retail customers (non-business participants who have purchased the $250 travel package) to their 400,000 distributors. Upon investigation, you would be lucky to find 1200 legitimate customers, let alone 1.2 million legitimate retail customers.

Furthermore, many people are earning an income for doing nothing more than "investing" their $250 and finding 2 people to do the same! That's it! No having to sell their product to a few customers (non-business participants), no having to meet any minimal monthly performance requirements, no having to do anything, just put your $250 in, find 2 people who do the same, and you can make money! In fact, this program meets the classic definition of a lottery!

They're even encouraging people to sell their tv sets to raise the $250 if they don't have it!

      __________________________________________________

It is ILLEGAL money games like TVI Express that give legitimate network marketing programs a bad name! In doing consulting work for new companies, I frequently have 2 prominent MLM attorneys involved, one a former well known Attorneys General and past President of the American Association of Attorneys Generals, and the other formerly lead international attorney for a major network marketing company for 20 years, and we are just amazed at programs like this one that seem to generate such massive growth...

Just goes to show 1) there's a lot of gullible people in the world; 2) a lot of people aren't looking for a real business and prefer get rich quick deals; and 3) most people have no idea what constitutes a legitimate program...

    • November 4, 2009 2:13 PM PST
    • Okay, going on their website and reading for my self helped to clear somethings up. I hope it's helps you too...I didn't see anything about training on the number one problem in our Industry...which is a lack of leads or lack or marketing training...So if you have this part of the equation figured out then I say go for it!

    • 1. How much does it cost?

The cost to join TVI Express is USD 250 if paid using prepaid vouchers and is USD 275 if paid by Liberty Reserve or Credit Card. It's a one time out of the pocket expense for a lifetime membership and does not include any recurring charges.

      2. How fast can I get started after I sign up?

Instantly. You immediately receive your membership backoffice and one click access to all various booking and search engines to start planning your next holiday. You also receive your very own Marketing Package and a self replicating website to start promoting the TVI Express Opportunity and build your way to the financial freedom.

      3. Do I need to sell any products?

No. You don’t need to sell any products. TVI Express is a unique e-commerce opportunity allowing you to build the Business around the globe sitting at your home. However, we do support leaders who take initiatives to promote the opportunity offline conducting seminars and workshops about the Opportunity.

      4. Is there a recurring cost or monthly membership payment?

No. There is no monthly payment. Your one-time payment to join TVI Express entitles you to have lifetime access to our upcoming promotional deals, programs and campaigns.

      5. What do I need to do to cycle out of the boards?

The first thing you need to do is sponsor two (2) people who join the TVI Express Opportunity. This will qualify you to cycle out of the boards as you progress ahead in the Compensation plan. Secondly, you need to encourage and teach those two downlines (people you sponsored) to sponsor more people and duplicate the process. Following these two simple steps will have you making money even while you sleep

      6. Is there any limit on the times I can cycle out of the Express board and earn $ 15,000 each time.

No. There is no limit on cycles. You can earn as much as you want by cycling out multiple times, giving you an opportunity to create ongoing Residual income with each milestone you cross.

      7. What is Residual Income? How is it different from Board payouts?

Residual Income ensures that you earn money on every sale in your organization enabling you to earn thousands of dollars with growth of your network. It is different from the Board payouts and gets activated as soon as you cycle out of the Express (2nd) board. With growth of your network, not only you will cycle in boards and earn payouts but will also earn a certain percentage of amount on every person joining your worldwide team. The Compensation plan has been designed keeping in mind the long term growth opportunities, with fast income at every step.

      8. Is there any capping limit on Residual Income?

No capping, no ceiling and no time boundations. You can earn unlimited amount of income and the matrix structure pays till infinity allowing you to enhance your income every coming week.

      9. Can I sponsor more than two people?

To qualify and earn commissions, you need to sponsor two people. However, if you want to progress fast and create multiple legs to ensure faster cycles and enhanced residual income from multiple legs, we do urge you to sponsor as many people as you can and support them at the same time.

      10. What do I receive when I cycle?

You get the following commissions after you cycle out of the respective boards :
      1) Traveller board : You receive $500 ($250 cash + an eVoucher worth $250)
      2) Express Board : You receive $15,000 and a re-entry into the Express Board

      11. What is the advantage of sponsoring more than two people?

You will receive a 5 – 10% bonus on every member that joins your organization after you cycle out of the Express board. Sponsoring more than two people and opening multiple legs in your downline organization will not just have you earn more money from the matrix structure but will also ensure faster cycles in the Express board. Follow-the-leader system makes all members to follow their sponsors. If you bring in many people initially, there are very high chances that not just you won’t have to sponsor anyone again but also cycle out faster as more and more people will be following you on to the Express board.

      12. When the board splits, how do members get assigned to new boards?

When the board splits, the members are placed in two new boards based upon the mechanism of top to bottom, left to right priority algorithm. Jump over’s are allowed in the boards giving value to those who build it faster than others present on the board.

      13. How does my matrix commission raises from 5% to 10%?

Your commission increases with increase in your rank. When you cycle out of the Express board, you automatically become a Gold Associate and start receiving 5% of the group sales. When two people in any two different legs of your organizational structure reach the 5% level, you become a Diamond Associate and the percentage commission upgrades to 7%. Similarly, it goes to 8.5% and 10% finally entering you into the power pool where you earn lifelong royalty income from the Global Revenue of the Company.

      14. What are the different ranks and percentage commissions involved with them?

When you join the company, you join at an Associate level and become a Silver Associate as soon as you hit the Express board. Following is the percentage commission structure involved with different ranks : Gold : 5% of Group Sales Diamond : 7% of Group Sales International Diamond : 8.5% of Group Sales Platinum Associate : 10% of Group Sales Presidential Associate : 10% of Group Sales with a share in the Company’s Global revenue by participating in the Power Pool.

      15. Can I own multiple ID’s while building my team?

Yes, TVI allows you to own as many Id’s as you want expanding the ground to earn more commissions and earn double or triple the money on the same network that you build.

      16. When do I receive incentives?

At TVI, we believe in valuing leadership by giving International fame and recognition. We award you with various lifestyle and high end incentives at our Leadership and Annual Events that we organize in exotic locations around the Globe.

    • This company promises to make you 10,000 dollars, has anyone seen the 10,000 yet. Wandad1214 you have lots of people in your downline, how many times has this happen to you? I have a friend who is currently involved in TVI he talks about having to get two people involved in order to move on to a board and you only have to pay a one time fee and what ends up happening is that not too many people use the vouchers they just end up reselling them...and in order to make any payments you have to send it through some forum something or other... and this was way too much for me...I was convinced when he told me only a one time payment of $250. But when I heard what came with that it's too confusing to begin to process...he also mentioned something about being able to to this process over and over again so a continuous 10,000 oh yes and it's 5,000 in traveling benefits so not all of it is cash...Thinking about it makes me want to yell!!!!

      I hope this helps...

TVI has suspended redemption of the Travel certificates for a short period while they complete their compilation of their available properties for these vacations. I do know one person who redeemed her vacation prior to the suspension, it was very successful.

There is absolutely nothing positive that can be said about them suspending the redemption. It screams "TVI EXPRESS SCAM".

A reputable company would have had their list compiled BEFORE they started selling the certificates.

A reputable company would have anticipated growth, because you would assume they were planning on success, not failure.

Big question - what happens if they just take the money and run?  The company does not appear to be registered in the UK.

They do not accept credit card payments - so no opportunity for chargeback...

Another question ... How DO THEY ACCEPT PAYMENT? Is it cashiers check or wire transfer only?

    • Tvi Express has not been closed down as you have reported.

Three individuals only have have restraining orders against them. Not the company..

As for the $500 and $10,000 commissions, i personally know scores of people whom have received mutiples of $500 commissions and at least 12 people whom have received between $10,000 and $40,000

There have been several large existing MLM Companies whom have been down the road that these three hapless people are going, and fought and won their cases.

Even when the fat lady sings ,the party is not necessarily over.

this is just the first round, so don't kill this chicken off yet because it's not ready to be plucked!

The ACCC has infamously lost several large cases at the tax payers' expense and are desperate for a win, and TVI looked like easy pickings and think they have the chicken by the neck.

To quote Winston Churchill (during WW20) " Hitler says he has the English chicken by the neck."

      "Some chicken....some chicken, some neck !!! ".

I f they are so concerned about protecting the Australian consumer why did they not put a warning up on Scamwatch when they became aware of TVI in (very) early April instead of waiting till late in May after Thousands of new people had joined.

The way I see it, is that if (and it's a BIG IF) Accc wins then thousands of people could sue them for not protecting them, and when they lose, the same people could sue them for loss of interim income.

An interesting situation, to say the least.
