    • lol, leave my hip rolls alone. Maybe I want to be fat, you ever think of that?

      Just kidding.

I don't know much about how well this company works out financially, but I will be the first to admit that the p90x is pretty impressive looking. I am of the opinion that this is a pretty sugar package all wrapped around the p90x; which is basically going to do all the work. I could be wrong, but I see no need for the accessories, the diet plan, the food charts and the motivational stuff. Just eat right, don't eat too much, and follow the p90x and you'll lose weight. Could probably save alot of money clipping off the extras as well, but I can understand why its all included. You have to keep people in that state of mind. Continuous video covers, articles, how-to guides and pamphlets with beautiful bodies, amped-up music and motivation. Keep them surrounded with the materials in order to keep them hungering for what always seems so far away. Might even be the very thing that makes them stick with it. Anyway, good looking product.

    • I'm back, and I'm coming at you. Its summer time, and here you all are sitting at your computers. Some of you might be in good shape, having kept up all winter long, but many of you know that you aren't. You're sitting there with chips, or candy, probably soda or even beer in some of the not so good cases. What the heck are you going to do when it comes time to remove your shirt for the beach? Have you thought of that? Yeah I'm talking to you, with the man boobs and hip rolls. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to motivate. You don't have much time now, the season is here, its just a matter of you, your body, your energy, your health, and yes of course, the beach.
Girls, I'm not letting you off easily either, you're going to be looked at, quite extensively I might add, and if you have been porking off all winter and not paying attention to those hips and thighs, the looks you get may not be the kind you want. So "why are you picking on us?" you might be thinking. Well, that's simple, because I'm in excellent shape, I know how to get in excellent shape, and I care about you, alot. I want you to be happy, to feel great, each and every one of you chubmuffins. There is a straight up, in your face, kick your butt way to get there, and that's the topic of today's post.
      Beachbody power 90

Remember the name, burn your mind with it, because its going to burn your muffin tops. You want to get in shape, do it military style, because the Beachbody Power 90 program is designed to help all of you reach your fitness goals within 90 days or less, guaranteeing you a weight loss of about 92 pounds, and some of you may have that to lose. This amazing program was designed by Tony Horton, a celebrity trainer and health expert that incorporates "sectional progression", a killer technique that attacks certain areas of the body, utilizing a "Sculpt Circuit" which infuses easy moves for toning, firming and strengthening your entire body in less than 29 minutes.

In addition, you get "Sweat Cardio", a super fun, and innovative set of Cardio moves, including kickboxing, Pilates, and other fat-destroying movements under just 36 minutes. This leads into "Sculpt Circuit", for sculpting your muscles and lasts only 38 minutes, and finally, if that doesn't kill you, you must face the "Ab Ripper", which is only two 6-minute ab routines. This amazing program also includes a set of accessories specifically designed to help the user on their journey by keeping track of meals, calories, and giving usage instructions. Lets not forget about the power sculpting band, which is implemented into the videos and is easy to use.

    • Hi Ankle, I was wondering about a few things I had heard about Beachbody coaching, and hoping you might be able to give me your opinion about it. I have considered Team Beachbody a respectable force in both the fitness and the mlm world, yet lately it seems there has been a bit of static. One recent article I read had stated that an individual had become interested in the program and the moment she contacted Beachbody; was harassed day and night by distributors asking for updates and how long it would be until she officially signed up. At one point they "hinted" as she put it that they would continue to contact her daily in a friendly manner in hopes of "motivating" her to do something "meaningful" with her life. She is actually a veterinarian by the way. I have not heard too many stories like this about Beachbody, although I have heard similar stories coming from other mlms. I was hoping to get your feedback on the issue, and to hear how common it is or if you have ever heard of it happening in your time with Beachbody.

Another question I have is about Team Beachbody's return policy. In several instances all over the Internet people have been promised refunds that they have not received. They have also received high quantities of product that they haven't ordered, which has been the leading factor in wanting to send back product for refunds. In most of these cases, it has gone on for months, with people being charged 3-4 times the amount for their order, being sent 3-4 times the quantity, and then being stuck trying to return their products to a non responsive customer service department that goes on for a very long period of time. Have you heard of this happening, and if so, does Beachbody have any kind of plan in motion to address the issue?

    • Become a Beachbody Coach.

Forget everything you've learned about MLM opportunities and take a look at the future of success. Virtually every area of your life is better when you are healthy, fit, and in shape. How many overweight people do you know that have a healthy, natural confidence with their physical abilities and with the opposite sex? How often have you come across that person you know would shoot off like a rocket if only you could help them overcome their own unhealthy lifestyle? I came across it often until I decided to do something about it and take my natural gift of leadership, athleticism, and confidence and start rallying some people up! I became a Beachbody Coach, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

My story started out back in college about 2 years ago during my final year. I had grown lethargic and overweight, depressed, and unhealthy. I should have been excited to be where I was at, but I couldn't enjoy it. My girlfriend had broken up with me recently, I had developed the horrible habit of binge eating to the point where my body was exhausted from constantly digesting food, my teeth began to ache from the amount of candy I was eating everyday, and I began to close up and spend all of my time alone. That is, until I met a friend who introduced me to the Beachbody opportunity, the one that changed my life forever.

I began purging all the bad substances from my life, no more candy, no more extra helpings of unnecessary calories and fat, and I began the Beachbody program. At the time I wasn't focused on starting a business, in fact I was still doing my best to apply what I was learning to my own life, but as time went on people began noticing me, noticing what I was doing, and I had started being the guy people came to for advice. To my amazement, not many people were asking me how I was doing it, as much as how I was staying motivated. Over the course of 7 months, a total of 24 college students joined Beachbody through me and I began getting checks through my program which I wasn't even paying attention to at the time.

      Next thing I knew, I was 76 pounds lighter, had a new car that was being paid for by my Beachbody income, and of course my then ex girlfriend came back only to find that I met a wonderful girl who I plan on marrying next year. Becoming a Beachbody Coach is super easy! All you do is help members of Team Beachbody learn how to control and maintain their health and fitness via weight loss, healthy eating and exercise, while simultaneously providing direction, and support. The best way to learn the program is to go through it yourself, and when you graduate, you will then be highly motivated to share it with others! You will become a Beachbody product expert, regardless of your experience with fitness or MLM programs. You will have the ability to connect new people that desperately need some guidance and advice with the entire Team Beachbody community. So I say again;

      become a Beachbody Coach.

    • Oh my gosh, I don't think I could handle anything this intense, although my daughter is really into these kinds of exercise videos, I think I am just a little bit too out of shape to do it and live! lol lol

    • March 12, 2011 11:49 PM PST
    • If you're looking for a new program to help you get healthy, let me tell you the real deal about Beachbody Insanity, the only program you're going to need. Beachbody Insanity will help you lose fat while toning all the muscles in your body simultaneously, and it will do it rapidly! This is an intense, interval-based program designed to combine effective strength training moves with high-intensity cardiovascular exercise thereby providing you with the best of both worlds. You will burn fat and build sexy lean muscle tissue at an astounding rate so long as you eat properly, and treat your body right. If you're considering Beachbody Insanity, you need to ask yourself a few important questions.

      1. Am I a one week wonder, or am I strong enough and determined enough to take myself to the limit?

Many people that give Insanity a half-hearted don't stick with it for very long simply because they are looking for a miracle that will help them get skinny with minimal to little effort at all, and if that's you, Beachbody Insanity is definitely not for you.

      2. Am I conditioned for high intensity cardiovascular program that won't leave me overwhelmed? The average person that tries this program tends to be a little more overweight than they really, in excess of 30-40 pounds in fact, and this program will most likely be too much for you, and you will need to start with one of our less intense Beachbody workouts such as Slim In 6, until you are able to handle Beachbody Insanity.

      3. Are you trying to lose weight in order to reach what you feel is an acceptable weight and fitness level, or are you looking for something extreme that will leave you with 6 pack abs and a military-like cardiovascular capability? These are important questions to ask yourself because you will ensure your own success by knowing exactly what you are looking for and what you're readily capable of implementing into your life. Who has the time or the money to try to bite off something too tough to chew? The good news is, that there is NOTHING you can't work toward, and if Beachbody Insanity is currently beyond your capability, just start light, and you WILL be able to do it with a little work, diligence and patience.

This is a program that requires discipline, freedom from distraction by children, work, television or other types of stimuli that will hinder your ability to focus and concentrate. That makes this program more than just an exercise DVD, it means that its a commitment, one that takes a great deal of contemplation and motivation to succeed in. I would finally suggest asking yourself, is this something that you can do on your own? Can you maintain what is for many people; a painful experience conditioning yourself, with no one else there to push or motivate you except for Beachbody? If so, than Beachbody Insanity IS for you!

    • Oh hell this isn't for the easy goin Travis, my wife and I gave this a try a while back an I about passed out on the spot. I will say that maybe now while I'm in better shape, I might be able to put up a better fight but back then I tried it before getting involved with Isagenix and it was something way out of my league. I felt like throwing up, passing out and curling up in pain all at once lol, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not much for this kind of stuff. I hope you succeed Travis, and along with the others, look forward to hearing and possibly seeing your results.

      Good luck man!

    • I tried Beachbody P90X and just couldn't finish it on my own. I am clearly the type of person who needs a personal trainer to keep me motivated.

    • February 26, 2011 3:24 AM PST
    • Hi everyone, I wanted to say thank you for all the great feedback, especially to you August. What I've decided to do, is cut out the pale ale on Friday night, in addition to cutting my carbs in half. My wife and I are generally big on rice and pasta, but it seems to be the downfall of what would otherwise be a much healthier body weight. I think doing this will help me drop about 20 pounds, which is what I'd like to lose before I go through with the Beachbody P90x. I'm a pretty tough old bird and I know I'll be fine if I can condition myself for it.

Once I begin the program I can modify my diet once again to the way it outlines the eating plan. Softball is probably a fantastic way to help keep fit, unfortunately with my schedule I just can't seem to fit any serious engagements, especially after I squeeze in this new regimen. I can definitely relate to the voice issue, and it makes me wonder if these things are considered during the production of the videos and if any regulation takes place at all. I used to do a version of the firm with a girl from the south as the host, and while I mean no offense at all to anyone from the south or with a southern accent, the pitch of her voice in combination with her accent was just too much for me and at times I had a difficult time understanding her directions.

I'm hoping that the ab routine won't be too much for me, I sometimes experience a bit of paint in an area of my chest whenever I am in the motion of a sit up or getting out of bed due to an open heart surgery I had a few years back. I can do them but I can't push it terribly hard, or the area of the incision tends to give off a fairly sharp pain. Linda, I'm sorry you had trouble with this and I can only hope I manage to succeed, I've heard from quite a few people that this is the real deal and will make you feel like you're being hammered into shape hard. I'll be more than happy to keep up with the thread once I get going so please take care all, and I'll update in a couple of months.

      Best regards,

      Travis.

    • I couldn't do it :(

My daughter purchased a p90x DVD and we had planned on starting to exercise together but this just really put me off the charts. I'm not overweight at all but when I tried to even keep up I began to feel sick so I had to stop. From what little I could accomplish, my hips, back, and lower backside really hurt and I'm sure its because I am so out of shape but my goodness I think I need to start with something lighter and maybe I could gradually work my way up but I'm just not certain. My daughter on the other hand, blew through it as if she was the star and still does it. She looks wonderful and I have no doubt that the workout is very, very good for younger people.

    • February 23, 2011 5:52 AM PST
    • Wow, very you made me want to try it August. I've been into weight training on and off throughout the years, usually only lasting in two year spirts but I'm kind of getting to an age where I'd like to work the one area I have done my absolute best to ignore, and that's cardio. From the sounds of it Travis you could probably outrun me and I'm going on 34 this Friday.

I think I have partly chosen weights over cardio because its a bit easier for me. Strong as an ox but very poor stamina. I might just try to get my hands on the p90x and give it a year or so. I had a car accident in my late 20's that really changed my life in regard to fitness and I think a new routine proven to be effective might just be what I need.

Thanks for the info August, and Travis please let us know how you make out, I think your question was actually a great one because there are a lot of people in your age group looking for new ways to get fit, and there is never a better time to do it than when you're motivated. I hope to see an update from you.

    • I saw the Beachbody P90X informercial when I was in a hotel traveling on business. ( I did not feel like dropping 14 bucks to watch a movie on the hotel Pay Per View ).

Before seeing the informercial, I had heard of P90X but kind of thought it was a joke.

After watching the P90X infomercial I realized two things: 1) I had never watched an entire informercial before, so it was shocking that I did 2) The Beachbody P90X informercial didn't come across all cheezy like a slap chop or shamwow infomercial. Production quality was excellent. Message was clear. I ordered the P90X DVDs online when I returned home.

I think Team Beachbody is actually the affiliate marketing/MLM divisision of BeachBody. You don't have to be a member to buy the DVDs directly from Beachbody.

The DVD set came complete with a nutritional meal guide and a chart for keeping track of your progress, and a book outlining all of the workouts and explaining each one ( there are actually three - P90X lean, P90X Normal, and P90X Extreme ).

I opted for the regular P90X workout. I considered myself to be in decent shape, but wanted to drop about 15 pounds. I play softball two nights a week. I get some cardio which is immediately offset by the coors light in the parking lot after the games.

I followed the instructions and just tried to make it through as much of each workout as I could each day. The first week was brutal. I discovered I was not in the great shape I thought I was, but by the end of the first week I felt better than I had in years. Honestly, I attribute part of that to just the fact that I was getting in about an hours workout every single day. Some of P90X workouts I could not complete that first week - Plyometrics in particular, and the Ab Ripper workout which you do on the first, third and fifth day of the week was very difficult. I just pushed as hard as I could.

Beachbody P90X will definitely make you break a sweat. By week two I felt great. The recommended meals and between meal snacks ( usually nuts, or cottage cheese ) were pretty good, one or two were dogs but I just substituted other ones. I kept feeling better and better. I dropped 14 pounds in four weeks, meeting my goal easily. I probably would have dropped it faster if I'd quit drinking the coors light.

I really liked the way Beachbody layed out the meal options and how each meal hits on specific combinations your body needs like the carbs and protien in proper proportions to match your modified metabolism so you're firing on all cylinders. Working out every day definitely made me sleep better too.

You can definitely do this at a beginners pace. There is really nothing high impact. Plyometrics does have a lot of jump routines, but you can sub the cardio workout which is low impace and get similar results.

I did get kind of annoyed hearing Tony Horton's patter over and over again once I started repeating the videos each week ( you go through six a week ) but there is a setting just for the audio cues without having to hear the chatter. It was kind of funny at first in an awkward way, and much respect to Tony, but I liked it better after with my own music and just following along.

You can do the entire workouts with usually just a stretch bands. You can also do them with barbells and a chin up bar, but not required. They use a chin up bar in a lot of the workouts, but I switched to the bands, same results without having to try to overdo it with pullups.

The ab ripper is done on a mat, but you could do it just as easily on the floor with a couple of towels. Average yoga mat runs about 15 bucks.

Oh, the one workout I tossed was the Yoga. I did the Kempo twice a week instead. I think the Yoga is in there to give you a stretch and your body a rest, but I just hated it. Too slow, too much balancing and I didn't have the patience to keep doing the downward dog or whatever.

But all in all one of the best investments I ever made. Getting ready to go through the program again.

    • Hello, I've been looking for something proven to be very affective and from what I've researched, this is one of the toughest workouts on the market. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is something a tough 50+ man in good health, could do. I've put on a bit of weight this year but I don't smoke, I have low cholesterol and blood pressure and I would love to find a workout that would bring back the body I had in my army days. I realize my age limits that to a degree, but I'd like to really change my life in this area and I'm willing to dedicate myself to it if the Beachbody P90X is the way to do it.

I'm well situated financially and already involved with a great MLM so I have no interest in becoming a distributor but I am very interested in Beachbody products.

Can the Beachbody P90x workout be done at a beginner's pace or is this work out simply designed for those already conditioned for high impact intensity? Does the workout require the use of extras such as a jump rope, mat, stretch bands or weights? Lastly, does it include hard to learn dance moves and more advanced forms of coordination? I have had trouble in the past not with a movement itself, but memorizing specific chains and found them frustrating.

If anyone familiar with the Beachbody P90X workout can answer some of these questions I would e quite grateful, thank you.

    • Hello Everyone.

Coach Dale here from Team Beachbody.  Wanted to pass this news onto everyone here on Repspace although I am a little late with the news.

Last month Team Beachbody reached a benchmark of 30,000 active distributors, which we call Coaches.  This was a great benchmark for Team Beachbody and it was a reason for celebration at Team Beachbody.

You can read more about it on our CEO's blog at http://carldaikeler.blogspot.com/2010/08/30000-coaches-150000-celebrations.html

We have a lot of growth left ahead of us and our mission to reverse the alarming trend of obesity in America is going to take many more Coaches out in the field to help people get fit and to pass it along.

If you have seen our informercials for popular in-home fitness programs like P90X you know our saying is "Bring It" and I encourage all of you to bring it in your business and help as many people as you can.

    • Anyone that follows the Network Marketing industry knows that the growth we have seen in out industry is proving the Network Marketing provides one of the best options to financial security and freedom in this economy.

Fact is, for many people, they are out of time. They can no longer wait for a recovery nor can they afford to listen to the economic experts.

While it is true that some sectors of business have seen a recovery and even profits, the lesson that they have learned is that they were able to realize new profits WITHOUT hiring back the people they had let go.

This lean economy has shown rewards to those companies that operate lean.

What does this mean? Simply put, dont hold your breath for the those hundreds of thousands of jobs to return even when the economy makes its recovery.

Network Marketing and Direct Sales on the other hand is a people driven industry. The industry becomes stronger as a business as more people become involved and right now, as team leaders and builders, we need more people to keep up with the growth.

At my company, Team Beachbody, we just celebrated passing the 30,000 mark of what we call Coaches. Coaches are the independent distributors of our popular fitness programs like P90X and of our cutting edge nutritional product called Shakeology. For anyone that comes from a consumer product marketing background, Shakeology is whats called a catagory captain much like a product like febreeze is a catagory captain when you think of a fabric freshener.

The reason Team Beachbody is in such need of new coaches is because obesity and an overweight population is at epidemic levels and the response to the Beachbody infomercials is overwhelming. We honesty need more coaches to keep up with the demand.

I will touch on many of these items and issues in future posts.

In the meantime, please contact me if you would like to explore Team Beachbody as a business.

    • Oh goodness.  I have to agree wholeheartedly with this.  Science and medical research point their collective finger at soda, and blame it for everything from diabetes to tooth decay, hyperactivity to childhood obesity.  But I didn't even consider the environmental factors that were affected in making soda more readily available to the public...

That being said, if we consumed in moderation (laughable idea, I know), then I don't think we would necessarily have this problem.  But soda companies can't have that!

These Beachbody products seem to be geared toward people who want to achieve an almost body-builder physique, not really those who are simply interested in losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight. Are there any Beachbody products that are simply for the use of maintaining a healthy weight without all of the super-athlete training along with it?

      [/quote]

P90X is the extreme workout. Several of BeachBody's products are targeted to simply toning and slimming. Slim in 6 seems to be more of a light workout and diet modification. I also have a friend who lost over 40 pounds on a program that didn't involve any excercise at all beyond his normal work routine. He ate six times a day, smaller meals at each interval than he would at the usual 3 times a day, but was never hungry. The meals were part of a 'plan' that he paid for, but after he lost the weight he just started eating healthier, but at the same intervals, keeping his metabolism going the entire time. There are lots of ways to achieve the same results. First and foremost is probably to decide what results you are looking for, and make that a goal and take it in steps every day.

    • Beachbody products are offered through both Beachbody, and Team Beachbody.

If you are part of the Team Beachbody coaching business, you offer Beachbody Products to your contacts. Some Beachbody coaches have several hundred satisfied customers. One of the most unique things about Beachbody and the product line is that if you go online to YouTube and look up "BeachBody Products" and look for negative information, it's virtually non-existent.

While the overwhelming response is success with the product line, there are some common themes to those that fail:

      1. Using pirated DVDs from Ebay or other sources. The DVDs provide the workout, but the guide and diet book provide the nutritional backbone of the program.  Without the books you also don't know how to advance through the phases of certain Beachbody products like P90X.

      2. Persistence. The first week is the toughest. By the 2nd week, when you are going through each DVD for the second time, its amazing how much simpler they seem.  After that, it gets easier and easier and you start to crave the workout.

      3. Not breaking bad habits - Using one of the Beachbody products while still drinking a six pack of Bass Ale every night isn't going to do much. Well, it will build up your muscles and may tighten up that gut, but it's still going to be a gut.

There are a variety of products that Beachbody offers, to suit almost any fitness or personal improvement needs.

Suggestions for using the P90X -

If you don't think you can do pullups, skip the pullup bar and get resistance bands. They run under 20 dollars at most sporting goods stores ( Dicks, Big 5, etc ). You can try and work your way up by using a chair to support your legs as suggested in the video, but I just don't think you get the results you would by starting off with the bands and then eventually working your way up to full pull ups.

Use push up bars. Not the goofy rotating ones from the random infomercials. Actual push up bars. Much more chest development. And pushups are usually easier for someone than pullups, so get the extra bonus in your workout.

If you really want to shed some pounds, after the first week go for the extra cardio workout three days a week as outlined in the plan ( I think it's the extreme, not the basic ). One of the things I really love about this beachbody product is that it offers so many alternative ways to benefit, and a plan for each. Shed pounds, build muscle, build flexibility, whatever. It's just a great product.

I would love to hear more from people who have used other products, like Slim in 6, Insanity, and others.

    • It's very difficult to find P90X Beachbody Promo Codes online. The company doesn't seem to offer many discounts ( they don't need to, it's worth every penny ) but it's important to note that you can get free shipping, usually within 5 to 7 days.

Even without a BeachBody Promo Code you can save a few dollars by paying for the product all at once, and not clicking accepting on any of the upsales as you go through the checkout process.

There do seem to be some other BeachBody promo codes on other product lines, like TimeLess Secret and Rockin Body and Turbo Jam which offer additional free gifts when you place an order.

      Here are a few examples:

One on One with Tony Horton

      TurboJam - Chalene GUARANTEES RESULTS

Timeless Secret - Look Young in Just 14 Days

Rockin' Body - Lose 50 pounds just by dancing

You'll probably notice that although there are is no specific BeachBody Promo Code info, there are plenty of BeachBody offers that include some kind of additional bonus or gift when you order using specific links or by clicking on certain banners.

If anyone does have any specific promo codes, please post them there.

Beachbody's Whey Protein Powder was specially formulated so it can be mixed with water, added to fruit smoothies, sprinkled over cereal or dessert, or mixed with milk for a great-tasting, healthy shake. It comes in two delicious flavors: chocolate and vanilla.

      Why whey protein?

Whey protein is an ideal supplement for most fitness programs because it contains the highest concentration of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) of any single protein source. BCAAs are essential amino acids in muscle protein, and help reduce the amount of muscle protein breakdown during exercise.* Use whey protein to supercharge your workouts and lead you to a leaner, stronger, healthier body!
